耶穌也是被殺死的，但祂是甘心情願的為人而受苦。魔鬼仍然存在，但救恩已降臨。祂的死亡和復活，帶來了喜樂和真正的平安。只要人能棄絕誘惑，決心悔改，追隨基督，便能獲得生命。祂以死亡攫取生命，我們確要學習祂的寬恕，做到真正的愛人如己。
