撒羅滿王向上主說：「求你賜給你的僕人一顆慧心。」上主因為撒羅滿王是為能辨明正義而求取智慧，所以賞賜他一顆聰明智慧的心。(列上3:9,11-12)
上主總是喜歡正義的人。而祂啟示給我們的智慧，是為要我們正義行事。「萬民啊！請傾聽我……，我的正義要作為萬民的光明。」(依51:4) 所以，什麼時候我們為著追求正義，而祈求智慧，「慷慨施恩於眾人，而從不責斥的天主，必賜給他。」(雅1:5)
Perhaps you have a decision to make, but you're not sure which way to go. Come to the Lord in trust and surrender, and seek his face. Jesus is the wisdom from God, and he can help you (1 Corinthians 1:30). He doesn't want you to be paralyzed by fear or indecision. So ask him to fill your with his Spirit; then listen for his still, small voice. He has the answer you're looking for!
"Lord, you promised that your servants would not walk in darkness but have the light of life (John 8:12). Light the path before me, and guide me in your truth."
